Whale maki

This draw­ing high­lights the absurdity of our eat­ing habits dis­con­nec­ted from envir­on­ment­al issues. Through this work, we raise our con­­cern on the absurdity of whal­ing and the hypo­crisy that sur­rounds it, in par­tic­u­lar the laws that gov­ern it, in coun­tries still prac­ti­cing this activ­ity. Unlike the whale sushi series, we wanted through the use of the maki this time to cre­ate a more grue­some visu­al to remind the view­er of the hard real­ity that is whal­ing.
