Still life 3

With this paint­ing we wanted to add a tra­di­tion­nal ceram­ic from Andalusia. Spain being Europe largest pro­vider of fruits and veget­able all year long thanks to the use of intens­ive agri­cul­ture, an unsus­tain­able mod­el requir­ing tre­mend­ous amount of water. This details is a subtle as the labels on the fruits, like a “mise en abyme” of the whole concept of this series.
