Drop the bag

“Drop the bag” high­lights the cas­u­al­ness of Man in the face of waste and his respons­ib­il­ity by throw­ing the garbage bag out the win­dow. The char­ac­ter presents the bag with author­ity, this ges­ture thus sym­bol­izes his cow­ardice when it comes to fight­ing against pol­lu­tion by lay­ing down his arms in a res­ol­ute aban­don­ment. It is up to the spec­tat­or to whom the char­ac­ter seems to be address­ing to con­tin­ue the fight by pick­ing up the garbage bag, or to move on… The pass­er-by is thus con­fron­ted with his respons­ib­il­it­ies.
