« Wilson » est une œuvre créée pour un group show intitulé « Postcards of 2020 » à galerie StolenSpace à Londres dont la thématique était « Le ressentit de l’artiste sur l’année 2020 ». Murmure a traversé cette année 2020 dans une production assidue du projet Garb-age mais également, comme l’ensemble de la planète, dans un isolement social. C’est pourquoi nous avons choisie de réinterpréter l’image iconique de « l’ami » de Tom Hanks dans le film « Seul au monde » en celle de notre ami imaginaire peint sur un sac poubelle.
« Wilson » is a work created for the group show exhibition « Postcards of 2020 » showcased by StolenSpace gallery in London, for which each artist created an unique work as an ‘Ode to 2020’ and what the events of the year have meant to them. Murmure went through this year 2020 with an assiduous production of the Garb-age project but also, like the whole planet, in social isolation. This is why we have chosen to reinterpret the iconic image of Tom Hanks’s « friend » in the film « Cast Away » into that of our imaginary friend painted on a garbage bag.
